The event
Gold moves between two worlds. A specialist industry trades and refines it, then the banking system finances and settles it. Each side carries financial crime risk the other cannot fully see, and in Singapore, different authorities supervise them under different regimes.
Join ICA and the World Gold Council for an evening that brings both sides into the same room. The panel will explore how banks engage with gold businesses, where risk concentrates in the supply chain, from recycled gold to smuggling and sanctions evasion, and the specialist skills needed to manage it, followed by networking drinks.
Who should attend financial crime, compliance and precious metals professionals in banking, and refiners, dealers, vaulting, logistics and traceability providers in the gold sector.
