28 October 2025 – The International Compliance Association (ICA), the leading professional body for the global regulatory and financial crime compliance community, has joined forces with the Association of Compliance Officers – Greece (ASCO-Greece) to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking and support compliance education in the region.

As part of its commitment to advancing global standards in compliance and ethics, ICA will participate in and support the 8th Compliance Conference, hosted by ASCO-Greece, on 13 November 2025 at Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall. This year’s theme “Shaping a Responsible & Resilient Future” highlights the evolving role of compliance as a catalyst for sustainable business growth.

ICA President Pekka Dare will deliver the ‘Spotlight Speech’ at the conference.

The conference will bring together financial services industry leaders, regulators, and compliance professionals to explore innovative strategies, regulatory trends, and the evolving role of governance, risk and compliance in modern business.

ICA President Pekka Dare commented: “I’m pleased to be speaking at ASCO’s 8th Compliance Conference and to strengthen ICA’s long-standing relationship with ASCO and our valued partners in the region. Building on our already strong partnership with ASCO-Greece, this visit is a great opportunity to network with likeminded professionals, deepen collaboration and explore the future of regulatory compliance together.”

ICA’s participation at ASCO’s annual conference underscores its dedication to promoting excellence in compliance education globally. Delegates at this year’s event will have the opportunity to engage with ICA representatives, learn more about ICA qualifications, and explore how they can support their career.

ASCO President Michel Montbertrand added: “The international Compliance Association has made a significant contribution in promoting the awareness of the importance of compliance with their presence in Greece, through their thought leadership, training in compliance and their work supporting ASCO. We look forward to further developing our relationship, pursuing our common goals together, locally, and globally.”
