Today, more than ever before, compliance professionals must contend with myriad challenges, including rapid digitisation, technological disruption, fastmoving regulatory change, and new forms of risk. As a result, their capabilities are coming under increased scrutiny, with many asking the question: how does the skillset of the modern compliance professional need to evolve for the function to be successful?
To discuss perceptions of the role and debate the future direction of compliance, senior industry leaders from the financial services and regulatory community converged at the annual ICA Fellow’s Dinner. This report is a compilation of the highlights and key outcomes of the discussion that took place.
