The statutory requirements relating to suspicious transaction reporting (STR), recent developments in money laundering and terrorism financing (ML/TF) typologies and other aspects of financial crime risks are constantly evolving and changing. Keeping up with red flags identification and employing a systematic approach to analyse and mitigate ML/TF risks is an ongoing challenge for any financial services firm and its staff.

Through this course, develop skills on what to look out for during transaction processing, identifying the red flags for suspicious transactions or activity, and practising good evidential and defensive documentation.

  • Carry out accurate, evidential and defendable investigations and decide whether to file STRs
