The International Compliance Association (ICA) in conjunction with the Centre For Islamic Banking, Finance And Management (CIBFM) announces the launch of a new qualification within the nation of Brunei. The ICA Certificate in Anti Money Laundering has been created to meet the growing demand for skilled compliance officers within the region. The certificate, which is awarded in association with Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, is designed for those at an introductory level, who work in a compliance role and want to certify their knowledge. The course provides insight into current practices, legal and regulatory structures, vulnerabilities of financial institutions and the risk-based approach to anti money laundering and terrorist financing.
The ICA Certificate in Anti Money Laundering will provide compliance professionals with the understanding and tools required to meet anti money laundering challenges. Personnel with specific anti money laundering duties and those who work in financial services can benefit from the practical and theoretical aspects of the course into the application of their roles.
The course is offered in partnership between the International Compliance Training Academy (ICTA) and the Centre For Islamic Banking, Finance And Management (CIBFM), with the support of Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD).

The course is available to study through ICA’s training partner, ICTA via workshop-based learning with further qualifications being launched in the region in 2017/2018.
