ICTTF NIST Cyber Security Expert

“Teaches You How to Establish, Assess and Operationalize a Cyber Security Program Based on the NIST Cyber Security Framework”.

We have partnered with the International Cyber Threat Task Force (ICTTF) to offer the ‘NIST Cyber Security Expert’, a new course that has been developed to teach businesses how to establish and operationalize a cyber security programme based on the NIST Cyber Security Framework.

This non-tech syllabus has been developed based on a holistic body of knowledge that encompasses a real-life pragmatic approach to understanding the fundamental concepts of cyber risk management and how to leverage the NIST Cyber Security Framework to assess, implement and operationalize a cyber security program.

No previous cyber security knowledge is assumed, and the course is appropriate for all levels.

The course syllabus has been specifically designed to be collaborative and bring together business leaders of various disciplines within an organization. They are the key stakeholders in designing, implementing or supporting the cyber risk management program of an organization. Key cyber risk management stakeholders include:

The NCSE (NIST Cyber Security Expert) course is delivered entirely online with a combination of live ILT (Instructor-Led Training) sessions with the Head Tutor, recorded videos, downloadable case books and interactive material.

This is a ten-week course prefaced by an “Orientation Module” which is available with the first learning module.

Orientation Module Available: Introduction outlining the features of the online campus portal. Students get an opportunity to complete their online student profiles. Introductions to key support contacts.

Format: Video, PDF

Following the orientation module, each module becomes available on the Monday morning of each week at 08:00. Each module is comprised of the following materials:

a) Reading Material (Case books and References in PDF Format)

b) Videos (Covering the Module Topic)

c) Live ILT session with Head Tutor (Live every second week at 15:00 and available recorded)

d) Online Exam

Each module exam contributes equally towards the continuous evaluation of students and form part of their overall assessment and scoring.

The fees are listed in Euros and are payable by credit card to ICTTF as a one-off payment. Instalment payment plans are not available for this course.
