ICA Members' Assembly

Tuesday 28 March 2017, Pullman, St Pancras, London

This was a free event for all current members which included an overview of the organisation and its achievements over the past year as well as an insight into future developments.

Bill Howarth, ICA President and David Jenkins-Handy, Quality Assurance Director, ICA gave a presentation on 'Measuring Culture'. One of the toughest and most complex issues for compliance is the measurement and management of culture. HPOs is a system that can be used for ‘cultural mapping’ in conjunction with conventional audit techniques. The system is capable of being used as a tool for ongoing evaluation and management of people risk. It could also be used to provide a separate diagnostic audit of culture and behaviours in between formal audits. Effectively, this tool will enable compliance officers to measure their firm's culture in a rigorous and methodologically sound way, empowering them to make cultural changes happen.

Andrew Clarke MA also presented 'New payment products and services: The current landscape'.
