ICA Membership FAQs

Membership is open to anyone who has studied an ICA qualification and for the first time, anyone considering taking an ICA qualification. Please visit the 'Membership Journey' page for more information. 

Once you have received your exam results, you will automatically be upgraded to the membership level you are entitled to, at no cost. You will then be invoiced on your renewal date for the new membership level.

If you have previously completed an ICA qualification, please refer to the membership pages which will indicate which level of membership you are entitled to. 

 

All application forms need to be submitted via the online form. 

Yes, please refer to the individual membership levels page for the different fees. 

We do request that the relevant fee is sent via the online application form. A receipted invoice will be sent in your membership pack. Please note that as ICA Membership is for individuals only, the invoice will be sent to the applicant. Invoices cannot be addressed to employers.

The majority of members will pay the fee by card and claim it back thorough expenses, however you must check this with your employer.

CPD is continuing professional development. We require members to complete a minimum of 35 hours per membership year. There are many ways you can gain CPD and you can find more information here

No, you can rejoin at any time, please email membership@int-comp.org with your current contact details and they will arrange an invoice for you.

This level of membership is:

  • for those who have completed an ICA Professional Postgraduate Diploma qualification;
  • for those who have been a Professional Member (MICA) for five consecutive years and have circa 10 years of practical experience at a senior level;
  • for those who qualify for the experiential Fellow route.
