Corporate Membership
Businesses operating in any of the following sectors, and regulatory organisations concerned with services in these fields, may apply for Corporate Membership of the Association: banking, trust and company administration, investment Business, fund management, law, accountancy, insurance or any industry with an interest in compliance and preventing financial crime.
Corporate membership is available to organisations that:
- Undertake to abide by the Code of Ethics; and
- Currently employ at least one Professional Member of the ICA
- Undertake to facilitate the meeting of Continuing Professional Development requirements by employees who are individual members of the Association.
Benefits of Corporate Membership
Corporate membership of the Association is a public statement to regulators and clients of the commitment of a business to best practice in compliance and the eradication of money laundering and financial crime. Corporate membership gives priority access to the initial training and continuing education services of the Association.
Hard earned reputation, customer confidence and market share are all at risk if the systems of a business are inadequate or subverted by criminals or terrorists seeking to transfer illicit assets. Alert, aware and well trained staff are the main defence against the criminals.
Procedures are only as good as the people who operate them, so using ICA training, and supporting staff to gain ICA qualifications should be a central part of any compliance strategy.
