Purpose of the role: 

To:

  • Work as part of the team providing Central Compliance Services to RBC Wealth Management’s Global Trust businesses in Jersey and Guernsey (“GTCI”)
  • Assist in ensuring that the agreed core elements of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (see responsibilities below) are executed consistently, on a timely and consistent basis and in accordance with agreed service levels
  • Support the development of a strong and consistent compliance culture across all areas of the GTCI platform

The effective and proactive delivery of core compliance services is essential to mitigate or reduce the risk that business activities could be impeded through non-compliance with internal policies or changes in the domestic or international regulatory or legal environment, and to help safeguard RBC’s reputation.  Effective and proactive compliance monitoring and management, undertaken in collaboration with the business, is seen as a key contributor to business results.
